Would really like to schedule a Trash The Dress session.  Sounds like so much fun. :)   Or even some bridal portraits BEFORE the bride to be gets married.  :)    Maybe in my near future.

Had  terrific session with the W family today.  Miss Hayley wasn't very cooperative, but I managed to get some photos of her.  Miss Taylor, who is 7 months, did remarkably well.   Here a couple from today's session.

The Lokken Family

Had a great session with my nephew, Chad, his wife,Bridget, and their son, Leo.   I did their portraits about 5 months ago.  I couldn't believe how big Leo got.  He looks so much like his dad, when his dad was little.

A very cute newborn or infant rug.  Can't wait to use this with matching headbands, beans and clippies I have. :)   Will be buying the blue one like this to do Hunter's pictures in September.

It was 114 degrees here today.   That's with the heat index.  It is now 12:16 AM, and it's 82 degrees out.  This IS crazy.   So glad that I have air conditioning at least upstairs and... a fan on me right now. 

I hope that everyone out there is checking on relatives that are elderly.  Or people with health conditions.  Remember your outdoor pets too!!!

A STRONG but FRIENDLY Reminder

Please remember that if you have scheduled a session with me, that I require your deposit, before I will guarantee a time.  If someone else contacts me and wants a specific time that you asks for and you haven't given me the deposit, and the other person does, that person will get the time slot.  So PLEASE remember to send me or drop off your deposit to cover the cost of the CD.   This is done, due to too many people not showing up and calling ahead of time.

Mini Photo Session | Jen

Had a very short mini session with my daughter, Jen today.   I"ll add more photos tomorrow.

Don't worry, it's nothing drastic.

First of all, let me explain to you, my wonderful clients and hopefully future clients, what is all involved in getting your images to you with the best results that you'll love.

1. You schedule a time with me.
2.  I take 1-3 hours photographing you and/or your loved ones away from my family.
3.  I upload all of your images onto my computer onto Photoshop, where I edit them.  This can take up to 3 days depending on how many I have to go through.  Usually resulting in me working on them an average of 5-6 hours a day.

Now... Think about the time that you spend at your job, and how much you would earn in those few days. Or even hours.    This is why photographers charge for their fees.  It's time away from their families.  It's time that they have to prepare something that you'll keep for a life time.  We, as photographers, are proud and honored to do this for you.  But we'd also like our time and talents to be valued and respected.


My Changes:

Photo session fee: $15
THIS must be paid at the time of your booking to hold your place.

I will be offering prints!   ALL of my prints come from a professional printing lab. 

Print Pricing:

$5 a sheet   (One sheet equals 1- 8x10, 2 - 5x7's, 4- 3 1/2 x 5's, and 8 wallets)

 If there are other sizes that you'd like, please ask for pricing info.

I will let YOU pick out your favorite poses.



Portrait CD with all images (usually around 40- 80), enhancements, and a print release form:  $50 

Luxe Cards :  Minimum of 25 | $27.50

All items are subject to Wisconsin state tax



How Will I Order My Prints?

You will look over the Sample Prints paper picture below at our session if you have indicated that you'd like to order prints, pick out your favorite poses, and let me know what paper you'd like to use. There is E-Surface, Metallic, and True B&W.

I then place the order.  It usually comes back within a week.

I sincerely wish that when people know that they won't be coming to their photo sessions, that they either call or text me. It is so unfair.

But on the brighter side, I did catch this awesome photo of the sunset tonight. :) God, I love living by the lake!!!!

We went and saw the fireworks, and what a bust they were. Horrible. :(
