What To Expect On A Photo Shoot :: Tomah Area Photographer

I am NOT your typical family photographer.   Some may call me a bit weird.  But wait!  Don't let that frighten you away.  I'm silly weird.  I've never had a serious kind of personality.  I love to make people laugh. I love children (Which explains why I had six) .  I love interacting with them.  Making them laugh.   I will get some portraits of you and your family looking into the camera.  But my type of photography is capturing families being themselves. Capturing you interacting with each other.   So when you have a photo shoot with me,  don't stress your children out by forcing them to look at me.  Or to say cheese.  Smiles turn out unnatural looking.  I want the best poses for you and your family.  I want you to look back on your photo shoot, and not remember how stressed out you were that your child or children wouldn't pose or do as you say.   I want you to remember a good time.

Having fun with your child or children is what my sessions are all about!

Be prepared to get dirty, sitting on the ground, rocks, dirt...    Be prepared for me to get silly with your child(ren).

When you model by yourself,  be prepared for me to say "work it" many times.  Or think of that someone special in your life for a romantic look.

And when working with your newborn or infant,  I will be gentle, and treat them like they are my own.
If they need a feeding or be changed, we can stop what we're doing for him/her to be taken care of.

You can count on me to make a real fool out of myself.   So please don't feel like you can't be yourself.  Remember that what you put into the session, will reflect on your image.  So...  Put 100% of yourself into your session,  and come with an open mind.   You won't be disappointed.

The Lauritzen's :: Tomah Area Family Photographer

It was an incredibly windy day with wind gusts up to 35 mph, but that didn't stop us from getting some family portraits.   This is an amazing family whose photos I've taken a couple of times before. But this is the first time outdoors as a family.   Hope you enjoy.

One Of My Beautiful Daughters {Isabel}

Took another long walk on the bike trail today.  This time with two daughters, Caitlyn and Isabel.  Shot this photo after we took a break and rested.  It was 75 degrees today. :D   Can't beat that weather.

Tomah Bike Trail {Gorgeous Day}

I really enjoyed some time alone on a walk about 1/4 mile from our home.  :)   I really enjoy walking on the Tomah Bike Trail located across from the dam.   I took these photos today, and then will take more in May to show you the change of colors.
